Happy New Year

As the year draws to a close, I think back on what this year has brought me.I joined two site Creating the Crafty life, and Crative Soup for the Soul.I have met some WONDERFUL people. And have learned so many great things.I want to thank everyone who I have ever crossed there path and they have inspired me.Here's to 2013!!! May this year be even craftier and better!!!!

ATC for Creative Soup for the Soul

So I made a video for an ATC(Artist Trading Card) swap at Creative Soup for the Soul,The owner of site is Trish Frederick, and the host of this swap is Tristan Robin Blakeman.We had to make 5 cards and our only rule was the size the normal 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and to make a theme of Creative Joy. My joy is flower arranging being a florist I love to incorporate flowers in everything. So I quilled flowers to put on it.I hope you enjoy and PLEASE tell all your friends about my blog.I want to gain alot of followers to make my road to DT a little bit easier and closer.Thanks for watching

New things

Well hope everyone had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a crafty new year. My New Years resolution is to try new things and also to get at least 300 subscribers then I can start looming into being part of a Design team! As for now I have three pics that I want to show you. I have the blue baby boy card that was made by me for CCL's color challenge. Also the pink one is also from CCLs card sketch and them my newest ATC also for CCLs swaps. I am looking forward to getting to lean and know new things here.

Well the past few weeks have been so hectic. You can certainly tell the Holidays are here! I made a few ornaments that I will be giving away as gifts, still have more to go. I just thought I would share!

Hope everyone has a super blessed day. Hubby is a few states away working. So it is just me. But could be just as good because I am super sick wanted to catch up on some crafting but couldn't even do that. I just hope everyone remembers out soldiers out there during this Holiday season

Holiday Time!

Hello guys! What a crazy few months it has been! Hubby was out of work because of the last hurricane! So I was trying to stay positive because of the normal day to day of it all. Hoping we wouldn't loose our house n cars etc. anyway the good news is that he received a new job. Gone more for now, but blessed none the less. Also I joined a new group of crafting friends. Trish from creative Soup for the Soul. This group helps people with illnesses to give them strength in their craft ying world. They also sell products at a low cost which is great. I am still at CCL I will never leave there . They are too great to me. I'm hoping to be posting some pictures soon so you just don't have to read my ramble til then happy gobble day.

Busy Month

Hi guys! So this past month has been pretty busy and hectic for me.We had a small hurricane which pushed back alot of things...Hubby only worked five days in three weeks because of it.My good friend is opening up her flowershop,so I have been going practically everyday to help her get arrangements done etc.But I did have time to do the past CCL Bi-weekly challenge so here they are.The Tag is for the color challenge.(Purple) the the card sketch and the layout sketch.Enjoy!

Kinda Proud Moment for Me!

Well I got some great news the other night.I was asked to be the July featured Member of Creating the Crafty Life. Well Of course I said yes!!! Actually I think I screetched with an EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!lol I try so hard to do well on my crafting so that I am noticed.There is always someone who is doing something great!I try to learn as much as I can to be a better crafter. As we all know this love of ours doesnt come cheap.lol So it is nice to know that I am not wasting my money..lol Anyway enough of the blabbering..here are some new items that I have done recently. You can do either layout or Card.. and as many entries as you want.So far this is my first one and it is a layout..think I will work on a card next..Let me know what ya think I really like the color combination..

My June mid month post

Greetings my fellow scrappers! Things have been crazy lately with Father's day and all the swaps I am doing at Creating the Crafty life.It is such a great place to be and to meet new friends and learn from them.Anywho onto some of my work.I had a project featured at CCL this week it is a mini pin cushion, that I am oh so proud of! I also did a few more things got either swaps or challenges at CCL. There is always some kind of project going on for you to jump right into!!! this one was for a Purple color Challenge..For some reason I think the purple looks a little pinkish.But I assure you it is purple. Here is another angle The last photo I am posting tonight is a Challenge Sketch Card. I just love doing sketches...They have so many designs to go by..And sometimes it is a good thing when your having MAJOR brain farts..lol So I hope you enjoy the photos I posted and I pray they give you inspiration!I know I gain so much inspiration from my fellows scrappy buddies at CCL,and You tube.. Hello gang, so yet again it has been awhile since I have blogged.I am trying to get into the groove of blogging. People always tell me I have tons to say,but sometimes I dont know how to create the sentences to put on "paper"..lol I have been working alot of a few projects. One was my sister's baby shower.She went with a Black and White Damask with Hot Pink Accents.Pictures will follow.I mad a banner and some favors. My other sister Tori made the cutes diaper cake I was so proud of her. And also every month I do alot of swaps on the website I am affiliated with, Creating the Crafty life. I have made a few items I would like to show you. So this first pic is a layout I made for a sketch challenge. I love these colors the second is the yellow Challenge from Creating the Crafty life I made this ATC the thirs is a birthday card for a swap I had to make a few of them the fourth is from a previous sketch challenge I really like this one.I have never really worked with these colors but after I did I was very pleased and the last one is another ATC that i made for the orange challenge.

Frame Swap

So this is a frame I made for a friend of mine for a frame swap at CCL. It had to be based on the other persons colors in mind.She loves Pastels and Shabby Chic..This was my end result.
