Post It Easel Cards

Hi everyone! Hope all is well in the Land you reside in. Here in "Cajun Country" (Louisiana) it is a whopping 43 degrees. For us Southerners it is something cold. My husband works in North Dakota, where it is below zero at times. Way too cold for this gal right here. Anyway, I wanted to post this since it has been awhile since I have posted anything at all. I do not take credit for thinking this up. We have a challenge at Creating the Crafty Life to make a little as one or as many as we would like. Well I have to say I am on my second..lol Kinda had to get my feet wet so to speak before I make the real embellished one. But While I am taking a break from making these little gifts I thought I would blog on how I did it. What you will need before you start is : 1. A-Heavy Duty Cardstock Cut 4 1/2 x 11 B-(Score at 2 3/4 x 5 1/2) 2. Smaller Piece of cardstock 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 For Card Face Base 3. Plain Colored Matt 4 x 4 1/4 for face plate 4. Plain Colored Matt for Bottom where post it will go 4 x 4 5. A-Patterened Paper of your Choice 5 x 3 3/4 and B-3 3/4 x 3 3/4 6. Regular size post it pad 7. Greetings my friends. I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas. Remember this is the day the Lord has made.I am hoping this year will be better for my blogging.My wonderful hubby got me a computer for my craftroom, so now I don't have to lug my other one in here. I will try my best to make an effort to write in my blog everytime I come into the room. I just made a layout for Creating the Crafty Life. Hope you enjoy.

what a crazy couple of months it has been. I wanted to take a few minutes to tell everyone how blessed I am to have great friends and family. God has given me a great group of people to surround me with love. On a much bigger note I wanted to tell everyone I am still crossing crafting and I will be posting some Christmas cards in the next few days

Some New things happening in my life

Hi gang it has been awhile, I know. I had a tragedy in my life. My lil brother passed away a few weeks ago so I have been pretty mia from life itself. I am learning to cope, and I find that crafting has indeed helped me out a lot.It has been almost a month I have been a guest design team member of Creating the crafty life.and it has been challenging and exciting all in one.This month we focused on frames, and I had to make a project of something that was a frame or had a frame in it.This is what I came up with.It is one of the small frames from michaels and I made it into a miniature pincushion.I thik it turned out cute.I will be making a tutorial for one in a few days look out for it!
